What Are Different Types of Lawn Aerators for Sale That You Can Buy?

Well, there are at least four different major categories of lawn aerators that you can buy. Each category has pros and cons that are associated with it. This article will briefly discuss those categories.

If you’re looking for lawn aerators for sale, the first category which you might consider buying is a manual aerator. Manual aerators are aerators that you can push into the soil with your hands and with one of your feet. You can have manual spike or core aerators. My preference is core aerators, because I think they work the best.

The second type of aerator you can get it a mechanical one. Gas powered mechanical aerators are absolutely the fastest way to aerate your lawn. The only downside is that you will need to spend $35-$45 every time you rent one.  Often, you can hire someone to do it for about the price anyway, depending on where you live. And this saves you the trouble of having to rent the machine.

The third type of aerator you can consider getting is the liquid aerator. Liquid aerators tend to work all right, if they are used in large quantities. In addition, it is probably best to use a liquid aerator after you have gone over your entire lawn with a machine aerator. This will help you to develop thicker turf. In addition, you should also apply fertilizer to your lawn.

The fourth type of aerator you can use is a tow behind aerator. These types of aerators can actually cover with of 40 to 48 inches. If you have a tractor mower, you just hook it up to the end of your lawn and aerate your whole lot. Again, the best type of total aerator that you can get is a core aerator. Core aerators takes plugs out of your lawn, and leave longer-lasting holes.
